At The Frenchie Locker, this journey has always been about more than raising dogs. It’s about friendship, resilience, and finding light during some of life’s hardest seasons.

We’ve shared over 30 years of friendship. Growing up together, raising families, and walking through life side by side. But one chapter changed us in ways we never expected.

When Alyssa began her breast cancer journey, everything slowed down. Priorities shifted. The small things became the big things. And through it all, our Frenchies were right there with us.

These dogs didn’t just bring laughter, though there was plenty of that.
They brought comfort on hard days. Routine when life felt uncertain. A reason to step outside, to breathe, to smile, and to keep moving forward.

They became part of the healing.

The Frenchie Locker grew during that time, not as a business plan, but as something that gave us joy, purpose, and connection when we needed it most. What we were building together reminded us that even in difficult moments, there is still room for happiness, friendship, and new beginnings.

Today, breast cancer awareness remains close to our hearts. It’s a reminder of strength, support, and the importance of showing up for one another — something we strive to do for our families, our puppies, and the community we’ve built around them.
